BT Tower as prime attraction at Open London had never complained about lack of attention. In fact, to book the visit one needs to enter a ballot. One did. One failed.
However, The Guardian newspaper had its own lottery for a few tickets to over-subscribed Open London locations, like BT tower and adorable monster Trellick tower. One entered the Guardian ballot. One won.
BT Tower's admissions rules were clear and stright: only with emailed ticket and only with proof of ID. Guardian newspaper light-heartedly gave us a call only. One thought it was a prank.
However, we turned up with passports at Maple Street and with amusement discovered our names on the list. Hurrah!
